Pegasus TransTech has introduced a version of its Transflo Now! application for the Apple iPhone. The company's mobile scanning technology is intended for speeding up document delivery. It captures and sends high-quality document images from virtually anywhere in the world. Drivers can capture images of signed delivery receipts, logs or bills of lading, and send multiple documents electronically to the fleet in a matter of seconds, the vendor said. Documents are delivered in the same format as the Transflo Express truck stop and Transflow Now! scanning tools. For fleets already using either or both of those services, there are no additional start-up fees. Drivers can download the Transflow Now! for iPhone app from the iPhone App Store for free. The new version of the application automatically detects the document's edges, crops the image and converts it to true black and white for efficient transportation and high-quality results, Pegasus TransTech said. The app also allows indexing, so that drivers can provide additional information, such as load number of trailer number, if required. Upon successful transmission, a unique confirmation number is displayed on the app and sent to the driver's e-mail address.
