Shipco Transport, a non-vessel operating common carrier, has announced a pair of new less-than-containerload (LCL) services. The company has launched a third weekly LCL service from Ningbo, China into New York, as well as from Xiamen, China to Chicago. The additional Ningbo sailing offers customers three weekly cutoff options via all-water to New York. It is Shipco's 16th weekly direct intact LCL service between Ningbo and the U.S. The direct service from Xiamen to Chicago sails on Sundays with carrier ANL, offering a 25-day transit time. In addition, Shipco has launched a weekly LCL service from Marseille, France into the U.S. Utilizing the carrier CMA-CGM, the service features a 12-day transit time. It complements Shipco's existing service from Le Havre to New York. The neutral NVO now offers more than 260 direct intact services to North American from points around the world, the company said. Shipco is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scan-Group.
