Customs Info has made available its free Ci Mobile application for all smartphones, tablets and other devices based on the Android operating system. Customs Info is a repository for trade data delivered via Web-based subscription, to populate applications for global trade management, electronic commerce and landed-cost calculations. Users of Customs Info's tool can now access it on the Web, on CD or via an app on their iPhone or Android devices. Ci Mobile allows users to create unlimited item-classification files, save a picture of an item, save a voice note describing an item, classify an item for 152 countries and territories, obtain duty and tax information for those same locations, access international mapping and classification on the fly, view tariff schedules, view more than 200,000 rulings by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and e-mail an item and all associated data. Users of the free mobile version do not have to be Customs Info subscribers, the company need. They can find the application by searching on their phones for "Ci Mobile" in the app store.
