The service has no weight limits; entire pallets or containers are accepted for delivery under the Courier.Solutions brand. Lufthansa Cargo is offering the new product in cooperation with time:matters, a unit of the Lufthansa Cargo Group which focuses on "Special Speed Logistics" services. Customers can drop off shipments at Frankfurt Airport up to 90 minutes prior to departure. At other airports, the minimum drop-off time is one hour before departure. Transfer time at Frankfurt is 60 minutes, and 50 minutes at Munich. Lufthansa said it has developed special processes to ensure that shipments are accompanied at all times by dedicated staff. Currently, Courier.Solutions can be booked through all Lufthansa Cargo offices. The carrier plans to offer it through other distribution channels, such as call centers and electronic platforms, sometime this year.
