The M9700 was designed for business customers who require the screen size and lightweight features of a consumer tablet, but need a more rugged device that runs a Windows operating system that is compatible with existing networks, DAP said. Weighing just over two pounds and less than an inch thick, the unit is tested to withstand four-foot drops to concrete. It is equipped with an autofocus 2MP camera with flash and includes pan and zoom functions. Options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G and GPS capabilities. The M9700 ships with Windows Embedded Standard 7 and a 32GB solid state drive.
