Drivers can use their smartphones to scan documents remotely in the cab, or other locations, then immediately send the documents to the Document Imaging module within Prophesy Dispatch. The system eliminates the need for faxing, along with the risk of damaged or lost originals, Accellos said. Drive Axle is a free mobile app which runs on Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. The driver takes a picture of the document with a smartphone and enters such details as the load and bill of lading numbers. Upon selection of the document type, the image is sent to the Drive Axle cloud, where it is enhanced using Eleos's proprietary image-enhancement engine. The document is then imported into the Prophesy Dispatch program, and is automatically indexed into the Document Imaging module for access within the system.
