According to company president and chief executive officer Richard Willis, the new name "reflects the evolution of our company from primarily a distribution business to a unique, end-to-end e-commerce services and retail distribution platform." Navarre acquired SpeedFC some 10 months ago to expand its presence in e-commerce. The name change "reflects our strategic plans to aggressively grow this business," Willis said. Speed Commerce offers retail distribution programs, website development and hosting, customer care, e-commerce fulfillment and third-party logistics services.
