The company has linked its eDriver Logs tool with IDSC MatchAdvice from TMW Systems. In the process, the partners have combined power-to-load matching with information about driver hours of service. TMW is a vendor of transportation-management software to fleets and logistics service providers. PeopleNet has also strengthened its integration with TMW's TMT Fleet Maintenance-SQL, expanding mechanic and driver capabilities with diagnostic information from PeopleNet Fault Codes. Mechanics can create repair orders within TMT, using data from Fault Codes as part of the enhanced PeopleNet mobile communications integration within TMT, listing the default component, complaint and reason for the needed repair. In a related announcement, PeopleNet has integrated with McLeod Software's LoadMaster LTL, to address the complexities of less-than-truckload services. The system allows a driver to view all stops, select the stop to make and, when the driver indicates arrival, receive the corresponding form to be completed. For load pickup, drivers are asked to identify freight essentials: number of pieces and pallets, weight and destination ZIP codes.
