According to Accenture, the deal will strengthen its ability to help clients manage products and services throughout product lifecycles, and to bring items to market more quickly and efficiently. PCO Innovation provides PLM strategy and process consultancy, application architecture, system implementation, data migration and application management. Earlier this year, Accenture acquired Prion Group, which also specializes in the delivery of PLM services. Both transactions will support Accenture's practice in the automotive, aerospace and defense, consumer goods, electronics and industrial equipment industries, the firm said.
