The integrated set of cloud-based, “best-of-breed” planning and execution applications was designed to manage inventory planning, replenishment and order fulfillment. It is aimed at retailers, manufacturers, third-party logistics providers and wholesale distributors. The suite offers a holistic view of demand, built from point-of-sale date and shaped by factors such as price and promotions. It provides company-wide inventory visibility to inventory and orders, coupled with profitable order-promising logic. An iterative planning and execution feature detects changes and disruptions across the supply chain, allowing for re-planning based on a new set of execution constraints. In the process, JDA said, users can eliminate latency, manual rework and on-the-fly decision-making.
