The service will focus on providing marine terminal operators with process support and technology implementation for performance and operations management. Industry specialists at the site are implementing Accenture Port Solutions, a portfolio of industry-specific technology tools combined with business consulting and outsourcing services. Port clients will draw on help-desk, application-development, maintenance and support and infrastructure services, including systems management, storage management, disaster recovery and managed hosting. The center arose out of collaboration between Accenture and Modern Terminals Limited, who jointly devised and implemented a new terminal operating system on the Navis N4 terminal operating platform. The operator handles approximately 5.5 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) annually.
