The Handheld model integrates a scanner, camera and mobile phone within a compact and ergonomic form. It can be deployed in warehouses and in challenging outdoor environments with moisture, dust, extreme temperatures and the potential for drops. The Nautiz X2 features quad-core processing and the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. It includes high-speed scanners with 1D or 2D capability, eight-megapixel camera, 4G/LTE Android phone functionality, Google GMS for the use of Google Maps and downloading of Play Store apps, and a 4.7-inch, sunlight-readable display with multi-touch sensitivity.
