With field trials nearing completion, Carrier Transicold expects the full release of the system to take place in North America in 2017, followed by rollouts in Europe and other regions. Carrier Transicold develops container refrigeration systems and generator sets, direct-drive and diesel truck units, and trailer refrigeration systems. It is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
