enVista, a vendor of corporate cost-management software, has entered into a service-provider agreement with Microsoft. enVista will resell Microsoft Dynamics AX software applications. The deal allows the company to provide its cost-management capabilities and supply-chain expertise to all aspects of a customer's supply-chain processes, from source to consumption. enVista said it expects to provide additional value to companies investing in enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply-chain and customer relationship management tools. "This unique, holistic approach, coupled with enVista's global business and supply-chain expertise, are critical factors for achieving the best and most comprehensive results from enterprise solutions," said Jim Barnes, president and chief executive officer of enVista.
