Consona Corp. has unveiled Version 9.3 of DTR, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system designed for the plastics processing industry. The limited release includes more than 170 enhancements required by customers, along with two new modules. Preventative Maintenance maintains procedures and service plans, manages and purchases parts, and schedules and executes maintenance work orders for molds, production machines and other equipment. The new Quote Manager module provides a central repository for production quotes to customers. Users can create and maintain quotes for standard parts, as well as engineering and engineering change quotes. Pricing can be calculated or entered manually using bills of materials or price tables, with unlimited quantity breaks for each quoted part. According to Consona, DTR provides for seamless management of business intelligence, to ensure the successful sharing of data throughout a plastics processing organization. DTR can be configured to match varying business profiles and processes, with functionality in scheduling, inventory management, costing, material requirements planning and data mining.
