NetSuite Inc. has developed NetSuite Financials, a new edition of its on-demand accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The new tool gives users access to financial and accounting functions in a modularized format. It is especially designed for companies looking to move away from legacy, on-premise accounting systems, in favor of a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, the vendor said. NetSuite Financials supports the various back-office operations of an organization. The suite of applications includes financial management, order management, inventory and supply chain, billing process management, revenue recognition, services resource planning, human capital management and business intelligence and analytics. For a limited time, the vendor is offering NetSuite Financials at a 30-percent discount off list price, for any company switching from Microsoft Great Plains or any Sage ERP product.
