Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc. has released a new product known as TaxTally GPS. The tool combines the vendor's TaxTally Fuel Tax Reporting software with Prophesy Tracker, its global positioning system tracking aid, to offer a complete fuel and road-tax reporting system. TaxTally GPS gathers, records and downloads precise GPS locations for each vehicle. It then merges location details with fuel transaction data from the fuel card provider. Upon validation, quarterly International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) reports are calculated and prepared automatically without the need for further interaction or data entry within TaxTally GPS. Users know instantly when scheduled appointments are running behind schedule, via real-time GPS tracking. They can view their entire truck fleets on digitally enhanced, full-color maps. Other capabilities include the receipt of automated driver check calls, review of driver history for any given time frame, and viewing of a "breadcrumb" trail of truck location activity. In addition, users can receive detention and speeding alerts, while tracking current location, detention time and load for each vehicle.
