Aljex Software has partnered with Capital Associates Inc. to provide transportation-factoring and accounts-receivable services. Capital supplies financial and accounts-receivable services to the transportation industry. Aljex is a vendor of hosted management software for freight brokers, third-party logistics providers and related entities. Aljex customers can now outsource accounts receivable through Capital, which will bill and collect from the customer while paying the broker in two days. For a premium, the company will pay the broker immediately on receipt of an invoice. Capital can also provide immediate payment to the brokers' carriers as part of its quick-pay service. Its fee is as little as 1.25 percent of the invoice. Other services include free credit reporting, invoice tracking and invoice submission by regular mail, e-mail or fax. There are no application fees, the companies said. Using Aljex, Capital transactions are transparent and easily tracked, they claimed. All transactions through Capital are immediately viewable in the Aljex system.
