The Hackett Group has been named the preferred provider of global implementation services for the LearnCenter software platform of Learn.com. The tool is a learning and talent-management suite. Hackett is a global strategic business-advisory firm. It will offer full lifecycle implementation services and consulting for global customers both inside and outside the U.S. According to Brian Koniuk, managing director of The Hackett Group, "world-class" human-resources organizations place greater emphasis on employee training and development initiatives than do typical companies. They also spend more on automation, and deploy advanced technology in order to enable education and development. The LearnCenter platform allows companies to manage the entire employee lifecycle, from pre-hire to retirement. It gives users control over career planning, while providing management with real-time business intelligence. Elements include learning, performance and content management; online authoring; succession planning; collaboration; e-commerce and portal authoring.
