Prophesy Transportation Solutions Inc. has entered into a strategic partnership with BestTransport. Prophesy is a provider of trucking and logistics software to the transportation industry; BestTransport offers online transportation management system (TMS) software. The arrangement allows for the integration of Prophesy's Accellos One Optimize application, which builds optimal routes and truckloads, with the BestShipper TMS, which matches carriers and shippers from within the Best Transport network. The partnership marks the first licensed resale agreement for Accellos One Optimize, the companies said. The Prophesy application is used by third-party logistics providers, distributors, retailers and manufacturers to maximize the effectiveness of their freight spend. Using a browser-based design, it aids in automatic load building, route optimization, delivery scheduling and distribution pattern analysis.
