IES Ltd., a provider of transportation software, has released iView Web Desktop. The new product offers an online mapping system, with the ability to zoom out to a world view, or zoom in to street-level detail. It includes a dashboard with high-level distillation and organization of data, layered on top of Web tracking visibility. IES president Andrew Bullen said the tool combines a business intelligence platform and dashboard product in one offering. It tracks key performance indicators related to vendor analytics, utilization, carrier statistics and delivery accuracy, all reported in real time. IES's suite of import and export software serves freight forwarders, non-vessel operating common carriers, customs brokers and other transportation intermediaries. The company has offices throughout the U.S. and Asia.
