CDC Software Corp. has entered into a reciprocal original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with MIR3, Inc. CDC is a vendor of business operations software in both on-premise and hosted versions. MIR3 is a developer of real-time intelligent notification and response software. Under their new deal, both companies will offer a tool for end-to-end monitoring, alerts, notifications and resolution to a variety of markets, including information-technology service management (ITSM), crisis management and supply-chain operations in healthcare, finance, energy, government, retail, logistics and manufacturing. The arrangement calls for MIR3 to offer CDC Software's Event Management Framework, a real-time alerting, event-detection and resolution tool for managing workflow, as an integration platform for MIR3's inEnterprise suite of intelligent notification applications. CDC expects the partnership to open up new markets for its offerings in the ITSM, crisis-management and government sectors. For MIR3, the deal expands its presence in CDC's core vertical markets, including manufacturing, retail, financial services and logistics, while allowing it to enter new regional markets in Australia and China. MIR3 will also draw on the professional services of CDC Global Services, for onsite integration projects on behalf of its domestic and international client base.
