For some countries, the synchronization extends to standardized electronic data exchange with governments for e-invoicing. The portal is first being deployed in Brazil, with initial access provided to clients attending the vendor's 2012 Supply Chain Link event in Sao Paulo. The cloud-based platform requires no up-front investment or additional equipment to purchase, according to Agentrics. It was designed to optimize supply-chain management for companies of all sizes. Agentrics NeoGrid was created in 2005 from the merger of Worldwide Retail Exchange and GlobalNetXchange. It was acquired by NeoGrid, a Brazilian provider of hosted supply-chain management systems, in 2008.
