Added functionality to TRANSFLO 2012 R2 enhances the user experience, increases efficiency and heightens document security, the vendor said. Among the updates is the capability to read 2D and 3D barcodes. With the latest release, users can store and retrieve native file types, including Microsoft office and Excel files. The files no longer need to be converted, and accident-claim photos can be retrieved and sent from the TRANSFLO system in their original, high-resolution state. Enhanced security features allow for the streamlining and automation of administrative tasks such as the creation of user accounts and assigning of security permissions. A Web-based viewing application, called ezView, lets users retrieve content from documents via a Web browser interface.
