The new tool extends the functionality of Infor EAM for field service workers, including managers, clerks and schedulers. Technicians can access, capture and manage information directly from the job site. EAM Mobile can be implemented out of the box or configured to meet user requirements. It can be accessed through a specially designed Infor handheld device, or a broad range of third-party hardware. The application features a familiar interface to minimize training time, Infor said. Functionality includes streamlined work-order management, more accurate measurement modules in the field, improved compliance with government regulations and real-time data exchange between devices. Users can remotely conduct validations, change work-order status, support electronic signatures and run authentications. The entire system is updated each time a user transmits data from a mobile device to the database.
