In the process, they get instant access to critical component information with transparency across the product BOM, all in a single view. SiliconExpert’s content includes data sheets and documentation on RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), conflict minerals and product-change negotiations. Users can also manage product obsolescence with up-to-date lifecycle status, part risk analysis and end-of-life forecasts. Arena PLM serves as the front-end process to identify lifecycle and compliance issues for all components in the BOM.
