Webalo SCIM is a customized version of the vendor’s platform, designed for manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers. Bell Nursery is a provider of annuals and perennials to more than 170 Home Depot stores. The new product incorporates Bell’s custom-developed task list, which the nursery company created to enhance its own use of Webalo. Webalo SCIM allows companies to deploy secure mobile apps that allow for the real-time tracking and management of inventory from manufacturing source to customer checkout. According to the vendor, the application is especially useful for companies in the perishable goods space, where real-time inventory management is crucial to limiting waste. Webalo integrates with business applications and data from such software vendors as IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, SAP and Salesforce.com, as well as in-house, custom-built applications. Webalo also provides out-of-the-box integration with all of the major enterprise mobility management infrastructure tools, including those from BlackBerry, Citrix, Good Technology, MobileIron, VMware, Symantec and IBM.
