Ilesfay's technology allows global companies to convey complex engineering and manufacturing documents more quickly and less expensively than current methods, Aras claimed. Only changes to the documents are conveyed, reducing the bandwidth needed to transmit data between PLM vaults. Ilesfay Replication follows the same functional rules as Aras Innovator. According to Aras, it can be used to improve remote vault mirroring and synchronization, establish site cache architectures, and onboard new locations or systems. The tool is especially well-suited to high-revision design environments, Aras said.
