Arena is a vendor of cloud-based bill of materials and change-management software. ERP Logic, an SAP channel partner, is a provider of implementation and consulting services to global businesses. Drawing on Arena's ERPExchange module, ERP Logic has developed a connector that is intended to eliminate the need for manual data entry from the PLM software to the ERP application. In the process, the joint product streamlines the transfer of timely product data from Arena's software to SAP Business ByDesign. According to the partners, the integration will enable both companies to expand the benefits of cloud-based PLM and ERP to their respective systems. Arena's on-demand software helps users to capture product data, control revisions, manage engineering changes and share accurate, up-to-date bills of material with partners, suppliers and contract manufacturers. The vendor's products are aimed at small and mid-sized manufacturers.
