Together they are offering supplier item-lookup capability to users of the BOMControl application. Supplier Item Lookup is an add-on for BOMControl, which displays real-time supplier information - including data sheets, cost, availability and compliance information - alongside the parts in a BOM. The tool pulls from Octopart current supplier information about market availability, lifecycle status and regulatory and environmental compliance. It is available to BOMControl customers, and can be purchased for the price of one seat in BOMControl. In connection with the new product launch, Arena is allowing both new and current customers to try Supplier Item Lookup for free until May 31.
